Ferry runs, harbour parking and the Sandbanks commute: Poole does not wait for a dead battery
A dead battery can strike just as you reach a ferry, a trade run to Hamworthy, or the school gates in Broadstone. One of the largest natural harbours in the world means quayside parking, suburban estates and the run into Bournemouth all show up on our call sheet. Agree from £70 before we dispatch and expect us in roughly 20 to 40 minutes.
Who we help around the harbour
Cars, vans, SUVs, stop/start petrol and diesel, plus hybrids and EVs with a 12V fault. Quick runs between Poole, Sandbanks and Bournemouth never recharge the battery fully. Harbour humidity slowly corrodes terminals on older units.

Harbour side questions answered
How quickly can you reach me?
We aim for 20 to 40 minutes depending on traffic and availability. A run across town is quick, while summer traffic towards Sandbanks can add a little.
Do you cover Hamworthy and Broadstone?
Yes. Both are part of our regular BH12 to BH17 coverage along with the Quay, Canford Heath and Sandbanks.
Do you cover Bournemouth as well?
Yes. Bournemouth sits right next door and we link both areas through our nearby service pages.
Will a jump start fix my hybrid?
Often, yes. A dead 12V battery is a common reason a hybrid looks lifeless, and a safe boost frequently restores power.
Can you help on the A35?
We cover the A35 and A349 routes. If you are on a live carriageway, reach a safe spot first, then call.
Cost and arrival time?
From £70, confirmed before dispatch. Typical ETA is 20 to 40 minutes depending on traffic and availability.
What it costs and how booking works
Most call-outs are from £70, quoted on the phone before we leave. That covers a standard mobile jump start across Poole and the BH12 to BH17 area. A battery check once the engine is running is included.
Call or WhatsApp with your postcode, vehicle and symptoms. We confirm we can attend, give a realistic window, and head to your quayside bay, driveway or safe roadside location.
Roadside safety on the A35
If you stop on the A35 or A349, treat it as a fast road. Pull onto the verge if you can, switch on hazard lights, and stand back from traffic behind a barrier before calling. At the Quay or in a car park there is no such risk.
Stuck beside the harbour in BH12 to BH17?
24/7 mobile battery help across Poole and the Dorset coast, from £70 with the price agreed before dispatch.
