Mobile Tyre Change & Roadside Tyre Assistance
Flat tyre, puncture, slow leak or unsafe tread? Our mobile tyre assistance comes to you — at home, work, a supermarket car park, service station or safe roadside spot. We help with emergency tyre changes, spare wheel fitting and mobile tyre replacement where coverage allows. We agree an upfront price before we come — no surprise charges on arrival. Typical arrival is 20 to 40 minutes depending on location, traffic and availability.
Emergency help for flat tyres, punctures & tyre changes
A tyre problem can happen at any time — a pothole, a nail, a slow puncture overnight or a bulge in the sidewall before a journey. Driving on a damaged or under-inflated tyre is dangerous, especially in wet weather or at motorway speeds.
We attend cars, vans, SUVs and light commercial vehicles across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. Tell us your postcode, tyre size and whether you have a usable spare when you call.
What our mobile tyre assistance covers
Flat tyre assistance
Support when a tyre is completely flat, showing a low-pressure warning or will not safely hold air.
Spare wheel fitting
If your vehicle has a legal spare and safe jack equipment, we can fit it at your location.
Mobile tyre change
Where available, a replacement tyre can be fitted without you driving to a tyre shop.
Puncture support
Help for nails, screws and slow leaks — with honest advice on whether repair or replacement is safe.
Roadside tyre help
Home, work, retail parks, station car parks, service areas and local A-road routes.
Tyre safety checks
Basic checks for tread depth, pressure, sidewall damage and unsafe wear patterns.
When you should not drive on a tyre
- Tyre is completely flat or rapidly losing pressure
- Visible bulge, cut or crack in the sidewall
- Cords or internal structure exposed
- Car pulls strongly to one side under braking or acceleration
- TPMS warning with obvious damage or vibration
- Run-flat tyre has exceeded its safe distance limit
Driving further can damage the wheel, suspension and braking system — and puts you and other road users at risk.
Tyre safety: tread depth, pressure & damage checks
In the UK, the legal minimum tread depth for car tyres is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre and around the full circumference. National Highways recommends checking tread in more than one place because wear can be uneven — the 20p coin test is a quick guide if the outer band of the coin remains visible when inserted into the groove, tread may be below the limit.
- Tread depth: Check main grooves regularly — worn tyres reduce grip and braking distance.
- Tyre pressure: Use the pressures on your door pillar or handbook, especially before long journeys.
- Sidewall damage: Look for bulges, cuts, cracks or exposed cords after hitting a kerb or pothole.
- Uneven wear: May indicate tracking, suspension or inflation problems worth a garage check.
- Spare tyre: Check condition and pressure if your vehicle still carries a spare.
How booking works
- Call or WhatsApp your postcode, car park details, road name or live location.
- Tell us vehicle make, model, tyre size and whether you have a spare wheel.
- Send a photo of the damage if safe — it helps us bring the right support.
- We confirm attendance and agree an upfront price before we set off.
- A mobile technician attends your safe location with the right equipment.
- We fit the spare, replace the tyre where available, or advise on recovery if unsafe to continue.
Common questions before we call
Can you help if I have a flat tyre?
Yes. We help with flat tyres, punctures, spare wheel fitting and mobile tyre replacement where coverage and stock allow.
Can I drive with a slow puncture?
Not recommended if pressure is dropping quickly. A slow puncture can fail suddenly at higher speeds — stop in a safe place and call for help.
What is the legal tyre tread depth in the UK?
1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre and around the full circumference for cars. Below that is illegal and unsafe.
Can a mobile tyre fitter replace my tyre at home?
In many areas, yes — at home, work or a safe car park depending on availability and tyre size.
Do you give an upfront price before you come?
Yes. We agree the price with you before dispatch so there are no surprise charges when we arrive.
What information should I provide?
Your location, tyre size (on the sidewall), vehicle make and model, whether you have a spare, and a photo of the damage if possible.
